The first was when she was breaking out into the US market with a promotion in Toronto for Pan Am. It was a really exciting time for her and I thought she was so brave to wear a blazer over a little bandeau (both by the formidable Canadian designers, Diepo), vintage pants, and some gorgeous deep green suede YSL’s pumps. I loved her ballerina hair, and I thought she just stood out very nicely. The other moment was Karine at the Genie Awards, again wearing pants (yay pants!), Nina Ricci, A Marni for H&M collar that had come in that day, and a darling Olympia Le-Tan book clutch.
